My Town IsMy town is a woman
With long black hair
Flowing in the wind.
It’s a mother with open arms
Always staring at the open sea
Always waiting.
My town has many narrow streets,
Ancient shadows,
Life renews in the mortar.
It’s a meeting place
For long lost lovers,
On its steps or sidewalks,
Sometimes on a rainy day.
My town is a state of mind
A castle and a port.
For us who left,
A place to rest and reflect,
To gain strength
To face another day.
My town is not far away,
It’s very close indeed
It dwells in my heart.

ciao questa poesia è bella ma perchè in questo sito non c'è un pò di storia di fondi nel medioevo?devo fare una ricerca, mi serve non voglio andare in quella specie di biblioteca.
